This 18" x 12" x 4.5" Horizontal Flow Core is rated for 1000 WHP and the perfect fit for your custom high-performance intercooler. Each CSF Intercooler core is pressure tested at 120psi for maximum reliability in extreme boost applications. Hand-Built using jigs & fixtures for a perfectly straight core in a clean room using gloves inside the CSF factory to ensure proper brazing and a clean surface for future welding. Featuring a multi-louvered high precision staggered fin design (for both ambient and pressure sides of the core) for the best heat transfer possible. The CSF CSF8048 is a heavy-duty bar and plate intercooler core designed for custom high-performance intercooler applications. This horizontal-flow, cross-flow core is rated for up to 1,000 WHP and features a multi-louvered, high-precision staggered fin design on both the ambient and pressure sides to support efficient heat transfer.

Each core is hand-built inside the CSF cooling factory using jigs and fixtures to produce a straight core suitable for welding. Manufacturing takes place in a clean room using gloves to help ensure proper brazing and a clean surface for future fabrication. The cores are batch-brazed in CSF’s digital vacuum brazing ovens and individually pressure tested at 120 psi for reliability in high-boost applications.
