The DEI 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK Under Hood Insulation Liner Kit is a multi-piece, pre-cut replacement hood liner designed to reduce engine compartment noise while helping protect the painted underside of the hood from damaging engine heat. DEI Part Number 50083 provides a custom-fit insulation solution for Jeep Wrangler JK models from the 2007 through 2018 model years.

Built for practical installation and long-term performance, this under hood insulation kit features an aggressive peel-and-stick adhesive backing for quick, secure installation. The replacement liner helps restore the appearance and function of an old or worn factory liner while adding protection against heat and surface scratches. Its custom-cut construction is designed to provide an exact fit, helping simplify installation and maintain a clean, finished appearance beneath the hood.

By absorbing and reducing engine noise, the DEI hood liner contributes to a quieter driving experience without requiring extensive modifications. It is suitable for 2012 and 2013 Jeep Wrangler applications, including the Jeep Wrangler JK platform, and is supplied as one complete multi-piece kit. The kit uses heat-resistant insulation materials to help shield the hood from elevated under-hood temperatures. Professional installation is recommended, and the hood surface should be clean, dry, and free of contaminants before applying the adhesive backing.
