DEI Fire Sleeve is a high-temperature thermal protection sleeve designed to help shield fuel, transmission, brake, oil, heater, and other automotive lines from heat and abrasion. Part Number 92474 provides a 1-inch inside diameter and comes as a 25-foot spool, making it suitable for protecting multiple lines, bundling hoses, or insulating electrical wiring in demanding automotive applications.

The sleeve is constructed from high-temperature braided glass material woven into a flexible sleeve and heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber. It withstands up to 500°F of continuous heat and up to 2,000°F of intermittent heat, helping reduce heat exposure near exhaust components and other high-temperature areas. DEI Fire Sleeve can also provide burn protection during under-hood repairs and routine maintenance.

This universal sleeve is compatible with a variety of line sizes, including many 10AN, 12AN, and 16AN applications, as well as 5/8-inch and 3/4-inch heater hose. A tight fit may occur when fittings are already installed, so selecting a larger sleeve size may be appropriate for certain installations. Braided Kevlar and braided stainless steel lines may produce slight differences in fit. Fire tape is not included. Fitment is universal and application-specific; confirm line and fitting clearance before installation.
