Due to the difference in material from glass fiber, HT Silicone Coating soaks into Titanium exhaust wrap's basalt fiber differently and needs a few coats and heat cycles for it to adhere properly. DEI recommends a minimum of three coats, each heat cycled for curing before applying the next coat. To cure, HT Silicone Coating needs to reach a temperature of 400°F for approximately 2 hours. Allow to cool before applying the next coat. * HT Silicone Coating is sold in a compressed aerosol container. Regulations restrict the air transport of flammable products (aerosols). DEI HT Silicone Coating is a high-temperature protective coating designed to seal, protect, and extend the service life of exhaust wraps and other heat-exposed surfaces. The formula helps defend against abrasions, oil, dirt, moisture, road grime, rust, and general surface wear while restoring a clean appearance to faded grills, fire pits, and automotive components.

Rated for hot surfaces up to 1,500°F, this versatile silicone coating is suitable for DEI exhaust wraps, headers, engine blocks, pipes, manifolds, starters, grills, and other high-temperature applications. It penetrates wrap fibers to help reduce fraying and prolong wrap life. The aerosol formula is VOC compliant in all 50 states and is supplied in an aluminum can for convenient application.

For Titanium exhaust wrap, DEI recommends applying at least three coats. Each coat should be heat-cycled to approximately 400°F for about two hours, then allowed to cool before the next coat is applied. This process helps the coating adhere properly to the wrap’s basalt fiber construction. The coating is also compatible with glass-fiber exhaust wraps and other suitable high-temperature materials. This product is intended for universal applications and does not include vehicle-specific fitment data.
