Reflect-A-Cool(TM), constructed of fiberglass material backed with a layer of aluminized reflective foil to handle direct continuous temperature of 400°F has many uses such as covering firewalls, marine engine compartments, RVs, in the tub of a race car where typical mechanical fasteners cannot be used and has many industrial uses. Reflect-A-Cool(TM) can be trimmed to fit just about any shape. Just measure, trim, face reflective side towards source of radiant heat and remove self-adhesive backing. It's that easy. The DEI Reflect-A-Cool™ Heat Barrier Sheet is designed to help protect wires, cables, hoses, pipes, tubing, vehicle interiors, and components from radiant heat. Constructed from fiberglass with an aluminized reflective foil surface, this flexible material handles continuous temperatures up to 400°F and provides radiant heat protection up to 2,000°F when installed correctly. The reflective side should face the heat source for effective thermal deflection.

Part Number 10461 features a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing with a release liner for quick installation without mechanical fasteners. The sheet can be trimmed to fit curved, irregular, or custom-shaped areas and requires virtually no clearance, making it useful for firewalls, marine engine compartments, RVs, race car tubs, and various industrial applications. Its moisture- and solvent-resistant construction helps support long-term performance in demanding environments, while the lightweight material is easy to handle and apply.

For installation, measure the required area, trim the sheet to size, position the reflective side toward the radiant heat source, and remove the adhesive backing liner. The adhesive is designed to remain securely in place when applied to a clean, properly prepared surface. Do not apply Reflect-A-Cool™ directly to exhaust components. This product is CARB exempt and is intended for universal automotive, marine, recreational vehicle, racing, and industrial applications.
