EBC Yellowstuff 4000 Series front brake pads use an aramid fiber-based compound designed for strong braking performance from cold, with additional stopping power under the heat of hard driving. The compound is intended for both street and track driving and does not require warm-up before use.

A red brake-in surface coating helps promote faster initial bedding after installation, while full bedding may take approximately 300–500 miles depending on rotor or disc condition. Yellowstuff pads are developed for high-friction performance, improved high-speed stopping, and fade resistance. They produce a medium level of dust and are not designed as a low-dust premium street pad.

These pads carry an N rating with the Leaf Mark and are ECE R90 approved for road use. The compound is stable up to 400°C/750°F, described as the normal street maximum. NUCAP NRS technology is used for pad bond strength and retention.
