All EBC rotors are made from OE spec grey cast iron, exactly as used on new car production and as many as we have tools for are BRITISH MADE wholly in our own UK foundry. Currently EVERY SINGLE ROTOR sold in Europe and the UK is BRITISH MADE and a majority of the designs specific to the USA are also BRITISH made.The British foundry is constantly expanding its in house tooled range but EBC like every brake manufacturer ....does need occasionally to buy some rotors in from approved sources to complete ranges in overseas markets. None of our competitors will ever tell you where their rotors come from and we at EBC are as disappointed as the rest of the world that cost pressure means there is not ONE foundry left in the USA to supply such parts, other brake brands when asked about origin will just sidestep the question. When we do buy rotors in, they are specified, sampled, tested for element analysis, grain structure, tensile strength, hardness and optimum ductility and tested 100 piece by piece to be perfect for runout on this in house machine. 122.9mm Center Hole Dia.

The EBC GD7185 GD Sport rear brake rotors are designed for 2006-2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 2WD applications. Built from OE-specification gray cast iron, these rotors are engineered to provide reliable braking performance for daily driving, towing, truck use, and demanding operating conditions. EBC manufactures many of its rotors in its own British foundry, while externally sourced components are specified, sampled, and rigorously tested for material composition, grain structure, tensile strength, hardness, ductility, and runout.

The GD Sport design uses wide slots to help remove dirt, brake dust, and debris from the braking zone while promoting cooler brake operation. This helps reduce brake fade under load and at speed, supporting consistent pedal feel during repeated stops or when carrying and towing heavier loads. A protective anodized finish helps resist corrosion; the gold finish is intended for import applications, while EBC also offers black-finished options for domestic vehicles.

These rear rotors feature a 122.9 mm center hole diameter and are supplied as a two-rotor set for the applicable rear axle. The EBC GD7185 is a direct-fit replacement intended to work with the vehicle’s original braking system when matched to the specified application. Always verify vehicle year, cab configuration, drivetrain, axle position, and existing brake components before installation. Professional installation is recommended, including inspection of calipers, pads, wheel hubs, and related hardware.
