The rotors use a Thermic Black or Geomet anti-rust coating that protects exposed surfaces against corrosion. This coating is designed to remain on the rotor during installation; it should not be removed with brake cleaner or any other method. The coating will wear away naturally from the pad swept area during the first 10 to 20 stops. EBC warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by attempting to remove the coating.

Fitment: This front brake kit fits select 2002–2006 Acura RSX and 2012–2015 Honda Civic applications. Verify the vehicle’s year, model, trim, engine, and original brake configuration before ordering. The supplied brake pads are identified as FMSI D621, and the kit is intended for the front axle. Do not install upgraded pads on the rear axle unless the same upgrade is also fitted to the front axle.
