Part number ebcS9KR1485 combines high-efficiency EBC brake pads with premium rotors to provide consistent stopping performance, smooth operation, and convenient installation. Purchasing the matched kit can also help reduce the cost compared with buying the brake components separately.

EBC brake pads feature patented Brake-in coating to support proper bedding and dependable friction performance during initial use. The rotors include a Thermic Black anti-corrosion coating designed to provide long-lasting protection against rust. This coating does not need to be removed before installation. During the first 10 to 20 stops, the brake pads will naturally remove the coating from the swept braking area while the remaining surfaces retain corrosion protection. Do not use brake cleaner or another method to remove the Thermic Black coating, as improper removal is not covered under the EBC warranty.

This rear kit uses S9K pads with FMSI reference D461 and is intended for select Subaru Impreza models from 2002 through 2007, including the 2006 and 2007 Impreza 2.0 Turbo WRX where specified. Verify the vehicle configuration, axle position, and existing front brake setup before ordering. EBC advises against fitting upgrade pads to the rear unless the same upgrade is installed on the front of the vehicle.
