Exedy exeHH03SD Hyper Single Clutch Kit

The EXEDY Hyper Single Series clutch is engineered to optimize the performance of cars that are moderately modified, but do not require the clutch capacity of a multi-plate clutch. Similar to our multi-plate clutches, it has a purple anodized, forged aluminum cover. The aluminum cover is stiffer than a stamped cover and therefore allows a higher lever ratio to maintain the pedal efforts at a reasonable level. There is no clamp load deflection as found in a pressed metal type cover. Additionally, the pressure plate features a series of turbine-like, air flow enhancing vanes that keep the clutch cooler under extreme operating conditions to improve wear life. The Exedy Hyper Single Series clutch is engineered for moderately modified vehicles that do not require the capacity of a multi-plate clutch. This Hyper Single-Plate Clutch Kit features a ceramic sprung center disc, a push-type cover, and a 200 mm clutch configuration with 24 teeth and a 26-spline specification.

The purple anodized, forged aluminum cover is stiffer than a stamped cover and supports a higher lever ratio while maintaining reasonable pedal effort. The cover design does not experience the clamp-load deflection associated with pressed-metal covers. The pressure plate also features turbine-like airflow-enhancing vanes designed to help keep the clutch cooler under extreme operating conditions and improve wear life.

This clutch is intended for use with Hyper Accessory Kit HCAK103 and is SFI certified. Listed fitment includes the 2004-2008 Acura TSX, 2002-2006 Acura RSX, and select Honda Civic applications including the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2012 model years.
