The FOX 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP Rear Shock is engineered to improve ride control and off-road capability on trucks and SUVs with a 0–1.5-inch lift. Part number 985-24-227 uses application-specific valving to deliver a comfortable on-road ride, reduced vehicle sway, and predictable handling over uneven terrain. Its performance-focused design helps maintain a connected feel between the vehicle and the road or trail.

A true internal floating piston separates high-pressure nitrogen gas from shock oil to help provide consistent, fade-resistant damping during demanding use. The aluminum shock body dissipates heat faster than conventional steel construction, while the external reservoir system adds additional heat-management capacity. Black-anodized, CNC-machined aluminum components and a redundant sealing system support long-lasting performance in harsh environments.

The FOX Performance Series shock is fully serviceable and tunable, allowing maintenance and performance adjustments over its service life. Teflon-lined, heat-treated spherical bearings help accommodate suspension movement, and the included aluminum reservoir clamp supports a secure installation.
