Part number FOX980-02-243 features normal 40/80 valving and a heavy-duty 1-5/8-inch shaft to help maintain control over rough terrain, desert obstacles, and technical rock-crawling trails.

Its air shock design allows spring-rate adjustment by varying nitrogen pressure, giving builders and racers flexibility when tuning suspension performance. The internal floating piston (IFP) separates oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas for consistent damping, while FOX Racing Oil is formulated to support reliable performance under demanding conditions. Rebuildable and serviceable construction allows the shock to be maintained and customized with available valving options.
