The FOX Performance Series 985-02-020 IFP coilover shock is engineered for 2014–2015 Ram 1500 4WD applications, including diesel models, with approximately 0–2 inches of lift. This vehicle-specific shock combines on-road comfort with predictable off-road handling, helping improve suspension control, reduce vehicle sway, and extend usable suspension travel in demanding terrain.

Application-specific valving delivers balanced damping performance tailored to the Ram 1500 platform. An internal floating piston separates high-pressure nitrogen gas from shock oil to maintain consistent damping and help resist performance fade. The aluminum shock body dissipates heat efficiently and provides strong corrosion resistance for long-term use in harsh driving environments. FOX also uses a race-developed main piston, redundant sealing system, and heat-treated, Teflon-lined spherical bearings for dependable operation.

Designed for durability and serviceability, the FOX Performance Series shock is fully rebuildable and tunable to support a longer product life. Black-anodized, CNC-machined aluminum components provide a clean appearance while helping protect critical surfaces. The external reservoir system further improves heat management, and the included aluminum reservoir clamp supports a secure installation. This product is intended for compatible front suspension applications and should be verified against the vehicle’s exact configuration before installation.
