The FOX 985-24-014 uses a true internal floating piston (IFP) to separate shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas, helping maintain consistent damping and resist performance fade. A race-developed main piston, FOX Racing Oil, and a large 5/8-inch hard-chrome shaft support dependable performance during extended off-road use. Aluminum construction dissipates heat more efficiently than conventional steel, while black-anodized CNC-machined components provide corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Hourglass bushings allow increased articulation, and the shock is fully serviceable for ongoing maintenance.
