The FOX Performance Series 2.0 smooth-body remote-reservoir rear shock is engineered for lifted 2005–2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty applications with approximately 4–6 inches of lift. Part number FOX985-24-106 uses vehicle-specific valving to deliver a controlled, comfortable on-road ride while improving predictability and suspension performance during off-road driving.

Built with race-developed damping technology, the FOX shock uses a high-pressure nitrogen gas charge separated from the oil by an internal floating piston (IFP). This design helps maintain consistent damping and fade-resistant performance under demanding conditions. The external reservoir improves heat management, while the aluminum construction dissipates heat more efficiently than conventional steel shock bodies. A heavy-duty hard-chrome shaft, black-anodized CNC-machined components, and corrosion-resistant materials support long-term durability in harsh environments.
