The FOX 985-24-112 combines a race-developed main piston with FOX Racing Oil and an internal floating piston (IFP) that separates oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas. This design supports consistent, fade-resistant damping during demanding use. The aluminum body dissipates heat more efficiently than conventional steel, while black-anodized, CNC-machined aluminum components provide corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The heavy-duty hard-chrome shaft and hourglass bushings are built to withstand harsh environments and allow increased suspension articulation.

This FOX Performance Series rear shock is fully serviceable and includes an aluminum reservoir clamp. The external reservoir system further improves heat dissipation for reliable performance during extended off-road driving.
