The FOX Performance Series 985-24-151 IFP rear shock is engineered for 2017-2018 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks with stock height or up to 1 inch of lift. Its application-specific valving improves ride control, reduces vehicle sway, and delivers predictable handling on pavement and challenging off-road terrain.

This smooth-body shock uses a race-developed main piston and internal floating piston (IFP) to separate oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas, helping maintain consistent damping and fade-resistant performance. The aluminum body dissipates heat more efficiently than conventional steel construction, while the redundant sealing system helps protect against contamination and extend service life.

Built for demanding truck use, the FOX 985-24-151 features corrosion-resistant materials, black anodized CNC-machined aluminum components, and a durable powder-coated seamless alloy body. Teflon-lined, heat-treated spherical bearings support smooth suspension movement. The shock is fully serviceable and tunable, allowing long-term maintenance and performance adjustment. This product is not CARB approved and carries a California Proposition 65 warning.
