The FOX 985-62-004 2.0 Performance Series front coil-over shock is engineered to improve ride quality, handling, and off-road capability on select 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 applications. Its vehicle-specific valving delivers a comfortable on-road ride with controlled damping and reduced body sway, while increased droop travel helps maintain suspension performance over uneven terrain.

This FOX Performance Series shock uses a race-developed main piston and a true internal floating piston (IFP) to separate high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil. This design promotes consistent, fade-resistant damping during demanding use. The aluminum shock body dissipates heat efficiently and resists corrosion in harsh environments, while the fully serviceable construction supports long-term maintenance and dependable performance.

The coil-over assembly includes a new spring seat and is designed to reuse the vehicle’s stock spring and mounting hardware. It is tuned for applications with up to 2 inches of lift and uses a 2.0-inch Performance Series snap-ring coil-over design.
