Exclusive internal bypass technology allows oil to flow around the piston at some points of the stroke – while creating humongous pressure at other points – supporting the vehicle like no other product can. Floating through terrain is accomplished with FOX’s ride zone – combining a race-developed shock piston, internal bypass and Dual Speed Compression adjustment – allowing fine tuning for weight, terrain and speed. Dominate any terrain with the brute strength of 3- and 2.5-inch aluminum bodies, cactus cooler reservoirs and 7/8” shafts with redundant seals, all proven in the harshest of environments under the toughest of conditions.

Its eye-to-eye mounting design supports installation in compatible custom and race-oriented suspension applications.

FOX internal bypass technology controls oil flow through different portions of the stroke, helping provide progressive damping and suspension support where it is needed most. The design works with a race-developed piston and Dual Speed Compression adjustment to help fine-tune performance for vehicle weight, terrain, and driving speed. Built for repeated abuse, the FOX Factory Race Series bump stop uses a durable aluminum body, black-anodized CNC-machined aluminum components, and a hard-chrome-plated 4130 chromoly steel shaft. A Cerakote protective ceramic coating over a zinc-plated basecoat helps resist wear and corrosion, while JM92 MIL-SPEC oil is formulated specifically for off-road racing applications. Redundant seals support dependable operation in harsh environments, and the unit is owner-serviceable and rebuildable for long-term use.
