FOX Factory Race Series 3.2 Internal Bypass shocks for the LC250, GX550, and 4Runner chassis deliver velocity and position-sensitive damping technology, Dual Speed Compression Evolution (DSC EVO) adjustment, and high-speed ready performance in a bolt-on kit. Patented Internal Bypass technology allows for multiple zones of damping control. The result is a comfortable, confident ride with increased damping force through rough terrain. Internal bypass shocks produce more force progressively to control hard bottom-outs, prevent harsh top-outs, and provide an initial catch for landing. Shock fluid bypasses the main piston through bleed holes in the ride zone. As the shock extends past the ride zone in rebound or compression, the bleed holes terminate, forcing fluid through the main piston. Type II anodization prevents corrosion and wear of the 3.2-inch diameter aluminum bodies. Finned reservoirs increase oil capacity, house an IFP, and feature a DSC EVO adjuster. DSC EVO utilizes Variable Valve Control (VVC) on the high-speed circuit. VVC doesn't add preload to the shim stack to adjust high-speed damping. The result is more comfort, independent high and low-speed circuits, and increased capacity for big hits. Add clicks of high-speed compression without sacrificing small-bump sensitivity. Part number FOX883-26-169 features a bolt-on design, application-specific valving, and vehicle-specific tuning for vehicles with 0 to 1.5 inches of lift.

Patented Internal Bypass technology creates multiple damping zones throughout the shock stroke. Oil flows around the main piston in the ride zone for improved small-bump compliance, then moves through the piston as the shock enters deeper compression or rebound zones. This position- and velocity-sensitive design progressively increases damping to control hard bottom-outs, reduce harsh top-outs, and improve stability over rough terrain.

The finned remote reservoir increases oil capacity and houses an internal floating piston for consistent performance during demanding driving. The integrated Dual Speed Compression Evolution (DSC EVO) adjuster provides independent high- and low-speed compression tuning, while Variable Valve Control adjusts the high-speed circuit without adding preload to the shim stack. This helps maintain small-bump sensitivity while adding support for larger impacts and higher-speed terrain. The 3.2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body uses Type II anodization for improved corrosion and wear resistance. A 7/8-inch hard-chromed steel shaft and redundant main, wiper, and scraper seals provide durability in demanding environments.
