The FOX Performance Series 2.0 front shock, part number FOX985-24-163, is engineered for 2005 and newer Ford Super Duty applications with a 4–5-inch suspension lift. Its vehicle-specific valving is tuned to deliver a controlled, comfortable on-road ride while improving predictability and stability during off-road driving. The remote reservoir design helps manage heat during demanding use, supporting consistent damping performance over extended trails, rough terrain, and heavy-duty driving conditions.

Built with a lightweight aluminum body and black anodized CNC-machined aluminum components, this FOX shock dissipates heat more efficiently than conventional steel designs while resisting corrosion and harsh environmental conditions. A race-developed main piston and true internal floating piston separate gas from oil to help minimize aeration and provide fade-resistant performance. The design also extends available drop-out travel in many applications, helping increase off-road capability without sacrificing everyday ride quality.

This Performance Series shock is fully serviceable and torture-tested using technology developed for competitive off-road racing. The included aluminum reservoir clamp supports secure installation of the external reservoir. Fitment includes select 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty models equipped with a 4–5-inch lift and compatible front suspension configurations.
