The FOX Performance Series FOX985-24-258 rear shock is engineered for 2014 and newer Ram 3500 applications with a 2- to 3.5-inch lift. This application-specific shock uses performance-tuned valving to deliver a controlled, comfortable ride on the road while improving handling and stability during off-road driving. Its extended travel capability helps increase suspension articulation and off-road performance in compatible applications.

A remote reservoir system helps dissipate heat quickly for consistent, fade-resistant damping during demanding use. The aluminum shock body transfers heat more efficiently than conventional steel construction, while black anodized, CNC-machined aluminum components provide durability and corrosion resistance. Inside, a race-developed main piston and true internal floating piston separate gas from oil to maintain predictable performance across changing terrain and operating conditions.

FOX builds the Performance Series shock for long-term serviceability and repeated use in harsh environments. The included aluminum reservoir clamp supports a secure installation, and the shock is designed specifically for the suspension characteristics of the applicable Ram 3500.
