The FOX Performance Series FOX985-62-008 front coil-over shock is designed for select 2015–2016 Ford F-150 2WD applications with up to 2 inches of lift. It combines vehicle-specific tuning with race-proven damping technology to improve ride control, handling, and off-road capability without sacrificing everyday driving comfort.

This FOX Performance Series coil-over features application-specific valving that helps reduce vehicle sway and delivers a more connected feel on pavement and predictable control over uneven terrain. The design extends available droop travel in most applications, helping the suspension maintain contact with the ground during off-road use. A new spring seat is included while the factory spring and mounting hardware are reused.

Consistent, fade-resistant performance comes from a lightweight aluminum body, race-developed main piston, and internal floating piston (IFP). The IFP separates oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas to help minimize aeration and maintain reliable damping during demanding use. Aluminum also dissipates heat faster than conventional steel construction, while the corrosion-resistant, fully serviceable design is built to withstand harsh environments.
