The FOX Performance Series FOX985-24-021 front shock is engineered for select 1994–2011 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 applications equipped with a 2–4 inch lift. Its vehicle-specific valving improves ride control, reduces body sway, and delivers predictable handling on pavement or demanding off-road terrain. The smooth-body design and extended travel help increase suspension capability while maintaining a connected, comfortable ride.

Built with an aluminum body, the FOX985-24-021 dissipates heat efficiently for consistent, fade-resistant performance. A race-developed main piston and internal floating piston separate the FOX racing oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas, helping maintain damping control through repeated impacts and extended use. Black-anodized, CNC-machined aluminum components provide corrosion resistance and durability in harsh environments, while the large hard-chrome shaft is designed for heavy-duty service.

Additional performance features include hourglass bushings that allow increased suspension articulation and an external reservoir system that helps manage heat during demanding driving conditions. The shock is fully serviceable and includes an aluminum reservoir clamp for installation.
