The FOX Performance Series FOX985-24-015 front shock is engineered for 2007 and newer Jeep Wrangler JK models equipped with a 1.5- to 3.5-inch suspension lift. This application-specific shock uses race-proven damping control to deliver a comfortable on-road ride, reduced vehicle sway, and predictable handling during off-road driving. Its tuned performance helps extend suspension drop-out travel in many applications, improving articulation and overall trail capability.

A true internal floating piston (IFP) separates high-pressure nitrogen gas from shock oil to help maintain consistent damping and fade-resistant performance. FOX Racing Oil, a race-developed main piston, and a large heavy-duty hard-chrome shaft support reliable operation under demanding conditions. The aluminum shock body dissipates heat more efficiently than conventional steel construction, while black anodized CNC-machined components provide corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

Hourglass bushings allow increased articulation and help maintain a connected suspension feel across uneven terrain.
