The FOX Performance Series FOX987-24-022 front shock is designed for 2017 and newer Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6-8 inch suspension lift. Built for drivers who need dependable control on the street and improved handling off-road, this smooth-body shock uses application-specific valving to deliver a comfortable, connected ride with reduced vehicle sway.

Its 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body provides excellent heat dissipation and corrosion resistance compared with conventional steel shock bodies. A high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping system helps maintain consistent performance across changing terrain, while the internal floating piston (IFP) separates gas and oil to reduce aeration and shock fade. The hydraulic top-out (HTO) piston further improves control through extended suspension travel.

The FOX Performance Series FOX987-24-022 features a 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft, Type II clear-anodized body plating, and durable construction developed for demanding driving conditions. The shock is fully serviceable, rebuildable, and re-tunable, making it a practical long-term upgrade for lifted Super Duty applications.
