The FOX Performance Series Part FOX987-24-056 rear shock is engineered for 2005-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty applications equipped with a 4-6 inch lift. It combines application-specific valving with high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping to improve ride control, reduce vehicle sway, and deliver predictable handling on pavement and off-road terrain. The tuned design helps extend rear suspension drop-out travel in many applications while maintaining a comfortable, connected driving experience.

Built for consistent performance in demanding conditions, this FOX shock features an impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body that dissipates heat efficiently and resists corrosion. A true internal floating piston separates gas from oil to help prevent aeration and maintain damping consistency, while the race-developed main piston and hydraulic top-out piston support controlled suspension movement. The 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft provides durable operation under challenging use.

The FOX Performance Series shock is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, allowing long-term serviceability and performance maintenance. Its Type II clear-anodized finish provides additional protection against harsh environments. This automotive shock is intended for the rear suspension and is sold individually.
