The FOX Performance Series IFP HTO rear shock, part number FOX987-24-047, is engineered for lifted Ram trucks that demand improved control, comfort, and durability on and off the road. Designed for 2014 and newer Ram 2500 models and 2013 and newer Ram 3500 models with a 2-3 inch lift, this application-specific shock uses race-proven damping technology to provide predictable handling and a connected driving feel.

Application-specific valving helps balance on-road comfort with off-road performance, reducing vehicle sway while supporting increased suspension travel in most applications. High-flow, velocity-sensitive damping delivers consistent control across changing terrain, while the hydraulic top-out piston helps manage suspension extension for improved ride quality. The internal floating piston separates gas and oil to maintain responsive, fade-resistant performance during demanding use.

Built with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, the FOX Performance Series shock dissipates heat efficiently and resists corrosion in harsh environments. A Type II clear-anodized finish, 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft, and fully rebuildable and re-tunable construction support long-term serviceability. This FOX shock is torture-tested and race-proven for drivers who want durable suspension performance without sacrificing everyday drivability.
