The FOX Performance Series FOX985-24-048 rear shock is designed for select 2006-2010 Hummer H3 and H3T applications with stock-height suspension or up to 1 inch of lift. Its application-specific valving delivers a controlled, connected ride on the street while improving predictability and control during off-road driving. The smooth-body design and extended drop-out travel help support increased off-road capability without sacrificing everyday comfort.

Built with a lightweight aluminum body, the shock dissipates heat faster than conventional steel construction for consistent performance during demanding use. A race-developed main piston and true internal floating piston (IFP) separate oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas, helping reduce aeration and maintain dependable damping performance. The redundant sealing system and corrosion-resistant construction are engineered for long-lasting operation in harsh environments.

The FOX Performance Series shock is fully serviceable and tunable, allowing maintenance and performance adjustments over its service life. Black anodized CNC-machined aluminum components, heat-treated spherical bearings with Teflon liners, and a durable powder-coated seamless alloy body provide lasting strength.
