The FOX Performance Series FOX987-24-003 rear shock is engineered for 2017 and newer Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with a 2- to 3.5-inch lift. Its application-specific valving improves suspension control, helping deliver a comfortable on-road ride, reduced body sway, and predictable handling during off-road driving.

Designed for demanding truck use, this FOX shock features a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body that helps dissipate heat efficiently and resist corrosion. A high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping system works with the race-developed main piston and internal floating piston to separate gas from oil, providing consistent, fade-resistant performance. The hydraulic top-out piston helps manage suspension extension for improved control over uneven terrain.

The FOX Performance Series shock includes a 5/8-inch hard-chrome shaft, Type II clear-anodized body plating, and fully serviceable construction. It is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, allowing the shock to be maintained or adjusted for changing vehicle requirements. FOX part FOX987-24-003 is designed for the rear suspension and is intended to increase off-road capability while maintaining responsive street manners. Fitment includes select 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty and 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty applications, with compatibility dependent on vehicle configuration and lift height.
