The FOX Performance Series FOX987-24-021 rear shock is designed for 2017 and newer Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with a 4-6 inch lift. This smooth-body shock uses race-proven damping technology to improve suspension control, reduce vehicle sway, and provide a more connected driving experience on and off the road. Application-specific valving is tuned to support predictable handling while maintaining a comfortable ride during daily driving and demanding off-road use.

A 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body helps dissipate heat efficiently for consistent, fade-resistant performance. The internal floating piston separates gas from oil to help prevent aeration, while the hydraulic top-out piston improves control through the suspension’s extended travel range. A high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping design further enhances response across changing terrain and driving conditions.

The FOX987-24-021 features a Type II clear-anodized finish for corrosion resistance, a hard-chrome shaft for long-term durability, and construction intended to withstand harsh environments. The shock is fully serviceable, rebuildable, and re-tunable, allowing it to be maintained and adjusted over its service life. It is engineered for rear suspension applications and sold as one shock absorber. Fitment includes select 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty models and 2017+ applications using a compatible 4-6 inch lift system.
