The pleated media helps support long service intervals, and the filter is typically pre-oiled and ready for installation. No fuel-management modifications are required to obtain the filter’s performance benefits. For additional protection in dusty environments, the compatible RC-1820DK filter wrap can be used. K&N 99-5000 Filter Care Service Kit Aerosol is recommended for cleaning and re-oiling.

Fitment includes select 1976-1980 Kawasaki KZ900, Z1, KZ900 LTD, KZ1000, KZ1000 LTD, KZ1000A/J, KZ1000B/K, and KZ1000C/P Police models.
