K&N's Universal Air Filters are designed and manufactured for a wide variety of applications including racing vehicles, radio-controlled cars, generators, snowmobiles, tractors, and other applications. Regardless of the angle or offset diameter of the air intake, there is probably a K&N Universal air filter for your equipment. All filters are constructed with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges which absorb vibration and allow for secure attachment and can also be stretched for up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes. Its tapered profile accommodates air intake systems with varying angles or offset diameters, making it a versatile replacement or performance air filter for custom and universal intake setups.

The filter features a strong, pliable molded rubber flange that helps absorb vibration and provides a secure connection to the intake tube. The flange can stretch slightly to help accommodate in-between fitments. K&N washable and reusable filter construction allows the RU-2960 to be serviced rather than routinely replaced, helping support convenient long-term maintenance. For additional protection in dusty or wet environments, the compatible 22-8049DK Air Filter Wrap may be used. K&N also offers the 99-5000 Filter Care Service Kit Aerosol for filter cleaning and maintenance.

Fitment: This universal filter is listed for select 1989–1993 Nissan 240SX and 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee applications. Verify the intake configuration and vehicle requirements before installation.
