The ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flange absorbs vibration and supports a secure connection to the intake tube. The flange can also stretch slightly to accommodate minor variations between intake sizes, helping provide a reliable fit when used with compatible components.

The K&N RX-4140 is intended for off-road, racing, and other applications where emissions compliance is not required. This product is not CARB approved and may not be legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles in jurisdictions that require emissions-certified parts. For additional protection in dusty or wet environments, it can be paired with the K&N RU-1470PK Air Filter Wrap. K&N recommends the 99-5000 Filter Care Service Kit Aerosol for cleaning and servicing the reusable filter.
