The K&N Engineering XStream Universal Clamp-On Air Filter RX-3800 is designed to deliver increased airflow and dependable engine protection for performance, racing, and custom intake applications. Its integrated filter element in the top of the air filter adds usable filtration area, helping support high-volume airflow while extending service intervals compared with conventional single-element designs.

Built for demanding environments, the RX-3800 combines K&N’s washable, reusable filter media with a durable construction that provides excellent filtration and long-term serviceability. The molded, pliable rubber flange helps absorb vibration and creates a secure connection to the intake tube. The flange can also stretch slightly to accommodate minor variations between applications, helping provide a flexible fit for custom installations. The clamp-on design allows straightforward attachment when matched with the appropriate intake tubing and clamp.

This automotive air filter is intended for off-road, racing, and other applications where increased airflow and reusable filtration are important. It is not CARB approved and may require acknowledgment before use in regulated applications. For cleaning and re-oiling, pair the filter with the associated K&N 99-5000 Filter Care Service Kit Aerosol.
