The KONI Sport 8240 Series rear shock absorber is designed for BMW 5 Series sedans equipped with conventional suspension. This yellow-painted, twin-tube shock uses low-pressure gas charging and internal rebound adjustment to help provide controlled suspension response for street performance and spirited driving. The adjustable design allows damping characteristics to be tailored to the vehicle setup and driver preference.

Part number KON8240 1219Sport is intended for rear suspension applications and fits select BMW 525i, 528i, 530i, 535i, and 550i sedan models from 2006 through 2009, with additional 2003–2010 fitment coverage as specified by the application.
