KYB Gas-a-just Monotube Front Shock Absorber KYB554356 for Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana

The KYB Gas-a-just monotube shock absorber has additional performance advantages over the traditional twin-tube design: It can instantly, automatically adjust to your performance needs and never experiences fade due to aeration. The KYB Gas-a-just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.

• Electronic safety systems depend on the suspension, brakes and tires operating as the vehicle manufacturer intended. The KYB Gas-a-just helps keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed.

The KYB Gas-a-just monotube shock absorber is engineered to provide responsive handling, improved control, and consistent performance for select Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana applications. Its monotube design automatically adjusts to changing road and driving conditions, helping deliver a controlled ride during everyday use while providing additional damping performance when the vehicle is pushed harder.

KYB Gas-a-just technology uses two separate working chambers. The air-free hydraulic piston and valve area helps maintain responsive suspension control, while the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber and floating piston help reduce aeration and shock fade. This design supports dependable damping performance during extended driving, towing, hauling, and demanding road conditions. The KYB Gas-a-just also helps the vehicle's suspension, brakes, and tires operate as intended, supporting the performance of electronic safety systems.
