Introducing the Mishimoto 2019 + Mazda Miata ND2 Oil Cooler Kit. We all know that these Miatas will find their way to track, so Mishimoto developed a direct-fit Miata oil cooler kit to keep oil temperatures in check. The ND2 Miata received numerous improvements during its transition from the ND1, including a nice bump in top-end power. Another addition to the ND2 was a liquid-to-liquid oil cooler/warmer. A commonplace component, this unit uses engine coolant to warm up oil during cold starts and keep it cool during aggressive driving. Unfortunately, we*ve found that these coolers often sacrifice cooling performance when the engine is pushed for long periods.----The Mishimoto Miata oil cooler kit remedies this by removing the liquid-to-liquid cooler and replacing it with a 19-row stacked-plate oil cooler. Application-specific brackets place the cooler directly in front of the radiator for maximum airflow while -10AN braided stainless-steel lines carry oil to the cooler via a direct-fit sandwich plate and adapter. With this kit installed, Mishimoto engineers saw consistent temperature decreases of up to 57-degees (29.5-degrees C) using our non-thermostatic sandwich plate.----This oil cooler kit is available in a sleek silver or stealth black powder-coated finish with your choice of either the Mishimoto thermostatic oil sandwich plate or the Mishimoto non-thermostatic oil sandwich plate.
