The damping performance is easily adjustable across an wide range of rebound and compression, resulting in significant changes to the ride performance of your vehicle, enabling an custom tune to suit the conditions and vehicle set up. The body, reservoir and components are all made from 6061 T6 aluminum, Type 3 40 micron hard anodized ensuring exceptional heat dissipation, corrosion resistance and resistance to stone damage. Not only designed, developed and tested entirely by ARB's team of Old Man Emu ride engineers, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house by ARB. The Old Man Emu BP-51 Coilover Strut Front Left brings position-sensitive bypass damping and remote-reservoir performance to everyday driving and off-road use. Developed and tested by Old Man Emu ride engineers under demanding Australian conditions, this shock absorber is designed to provide ride comfort around town while delivering increased end-zone damping for chassis control and handling off road.

Its remote reservoir increases oil capacity to help maintain lower operating temperatures, while the internal bypass design provides increased control at the end zones. Compression and rebound damping are independently adjustable across 10 levels each, allowing the ride performance to be tuned to suit driving conditions and vehicle setup. The 51 mm internal bore supports the BP-51's big-bore design.

The body, reservoir, and components are manufactured from 6061 aluminum with Type 3 40-micron hard anodizing for heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and resistance to stone damage. The strut is designed to bolt onto the vehicle without vehicle modifications. This front-left application fits the 2025 and 2026 Toyota 4Runner.
