The Rancho RS5000X RS55010 suspension shock absorber is designed for improved on- and off-road handling and performance on 1997-2004 Dodge Dakota applications. Its exclusive Cross Tuned technology combines rebound valving with advanced compression functionality to help maintain shock motion control and provide a smoother ride.

The shock features a low-friction, self-lubricating seal, a 16 mm nitro-carburized piston rod, a 35 mm sintered iron piston, double-welded loops at stress areas and a protective polyvinyl boot. Its large twin-tube body uses all-weather fluid for operation in internal temperatures from -40 to 248°F. Nitrogen gas pressurized to 150 PSI helps reduce foaming and damping performance fade.
